A Watchdog's Christmas Eve Adventure

Join a brave watchdog on his first Christmas Eve as he guards the tree and stockings while the children sleep upstairs. As mysterious footsteps are heard on the rooftop, the watchful dog wonders if it’s a cat or mouse, but he soon discovers a thief coming down the chimney! With a fierce bark and a daring bite, he sends the intruder and his sleigh scampering away. Now the house is peaceful, and the stockings are safe. Children will wake up to a joyful morning, thanks to their loyal guardian!

  2. Tonight's my first night

  3. as a watchdog,

  4. And here it is Christmas Eve.

  5. The children are sleeping

  6. all cozy upstairs,

  7. While I'm guardin' the stockin's and tree.

  8. What's that now---

  9. footsteps on the rooftop?

  10. Could it be a cat or a mouse?

  11. Who's this down the chimney?

  12. A thief with a beard---

  13. And a big sack for robbin' the house?

  14. I'm barkin', I'm growlin',

  15. I'm bitin' his butt.

  16. He howls and jumps back in his sleigh.

  17. I scare his strangehorses,

  18. they leap in the air.

  19. I've frightened the whole bunch away.

  20. Now the house is all peaceful and quiet again.

  21. The stockin's are safe as can be.

  22. Won't the kiddies be glad

  23. when they wake up tomorrow

  24. And see how I've guarded the tree.
