In 1965, Ted Nelson proposes Xanadu, an electronic repository of world literature. In 1983, the Internet is created. ICTCM Workshop

Background – World Wide Web In 1989, Tim Berners‑Lee, a researcher at the CERN high energy physics facility in Geneva Switzerland, proposed the development of a tool to enable collaboration between physicists and other researchers in the high energy physics community. His proposal included the first formulations of the HTML, the http protocol, and the concept of client software (web browser). The world wide web (WWW) is born… ICTCM Workshop
