  1. Searching for Wall Street Journal Articles in ABI Inform 12.2009 NLU Library

In this tutorial, you will learn • How to access ABI Inform, a database of business journals including the Wall Street Journal. • How to limit your search to articles from the Wall Street Journal. • How to access the full text of the article and the links to print, email, link, and cite the article.

  3. Start on the Library’s home page • Note: To access the library’s databases you will need to log in through your My NLU Portal. • Under “Find it,” click on Articles. • Then click on A-Z List of Databases

  4. ABI Inform: Database of Business journals • Click on the ABI Inform (ProQuest) link to access the database.

  5. Limit your search to theWall Street Journal • This is the ABI Inform Search screen. • To limit your search to articles in the Wall Street Journal, click on More Search Options.

  6. In the Publication Title field, type “Wall Street Journal” • Then type your search term in the search box near the top of the screen. Then click Search.

  7. Wall Street Journal Results • Note that all of the results are articles from the Wall Street Journal. • Results are automatically sorted by newest first.

  8. Clicking the article title will take you to the full text of the article. • Note that you have options to print, email, copy link, and cite the article near the top of the screen.
