Inspection Cell • Aim:- • To provide a conceptual layout design that allows the successful transfer of packages from the vault to the cell and throughout the inspection and reworking process • Functional features: • Import/export facilities • Package transfer/manipulation • Buffer store • Inspection and reworking areas • Remote handling and viewing facilities
Inspection Cell - Layout Design • Two designs for two different conditions: • Existing vault dimensions cannot be altered • Further excavation is possible to accommodate additional features • Both designs provide advantages in different areas • Design option C2 is recommended if design conditions are acceptable
