  8. What’s the difference? • Talent? • Natural ability • Skill? • Something you develop • Interest? • Something you are interested in learning more about.

  9. STRONG INTEREST EXPLORER • Remember it is a self-report on your interest and your skills. • Only as good as you know yourself.

  10. SKILL vs. INTERESTS Should you pursue if you are really good at something but have little interest in it?

  11. Split into 3 groups • CONVINCED – Absolutely sure you are in the right field/industry. • ON THE FENCE – undecided-confused, not for sure which direction you should be going. • NOT CONVINCED – you are in the right field/industry or major. Think you may need to make a change.

  12. After you are in these groups answer the following question…. How does it feel to be in this “place” of being ___________?
