Five Key Principles • Underlying Bases for elders– Relieving loneliness, sadness, boredom and helplessness • Underlying Bases for kids – Male role modelling; respect; understanding of cycle of life; manners; one-on-one learning • Underlying Bases for staff – Staff recruitment and retention; job satisfaction; other? • Part of overall program of community inclusiveness • Keep it simple
