  5. Core objective To evaluate the potential of knowledge based approaches to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats to the chemical goods supply chain (production, storage, transportation). TRIAL TECNALIA’s approach • Definition of evidences and arguments to assured that vulnerabilities and threats are managed in the right way in chemical railway transport chain. • Definition of tools to facilitate a graphical visualization vulnerabilities and threats and their relationships. • Scenario development for the Chemical good Supply Chain based on real end-users needs.

Gaps identification in the security and safety methodologies, standards and protocols. Setting of new preventions counter-measurement and recommendations for the security increase. Increasing best practices on the Chemical Good Transport Chain. Improving the communication and commune protocols definition between the actors involved in the prevention phase and in the restoring phase. Identification of the distinguishing needs for the Intermodal transport chain and for the chemical goods transport. Functionality effectiveness maintenance and security guarantee during transport, storage and transfer. Actions mechanism proposition to minimize or control of the risk from safety or security point of view. Social and economic impact estimation. TRIAL.-
