THEORY AND METHODS STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES FINDINGS AND GRAPHIC • Analogical reasoning is “a hallmark of human intelligence.” In a story transfer situation, how do children deal with analogical reasoning? • Methods: 4-6 yr olds, 10-12 yr olds. Had to figure out how to move the balls from one bowl to another. Could use various tools including walking stick, hollow cardboard tube, flat paper, distracters.
