  2. In the beginning… I inherited a space that was “brain friendly,” but overwhelming in the fun factor.

  3. TOO MUCH STIMULUS!!! Our school OT suggested I remove some of the moving tags that hung from the ceiling. I did this, and left the covers over my lights, since I liked how it softened the lighting in the room.

  4. Rearrange space … Sensory Area - Before Sensory Area - After

  5. Change focus… Play Area – Before Play Area – After

  6. Narrow task… Dramatic Play - Before Dramatic Play - After

  7. Narrow the access!

  8. Work in progress… Left side of Storage - Before Left side of Storage - After

  9. Finding new homes…

  10. On my way! I am pleased with the progress I have made to not only my own space, but to better the function for my students. -Brenda Van Enkevort
