Working Groups 15 • Enterprise Architecture • A SIM Community of more than 54 individual members from over 29 organizations who identify and share processes, methods, tools, concepts, and best practices enabling IT organizations to understand, create, and manage EA in Partnership with the business. • IT Procurement • This group is comprised of 30 Member Companies who come together to share concerns, form strategies, and discuss opportunities as they relate to IT Procurement activities and responsibilities. • SIM Women • This is a network of individuals who promote communication, mentorship and career development among the female members of SIM. • IT Workforce • This team consists of nine U.S. and Australian researchers who seek to understand current and future needs for IT skills and capabilities in private and public sector organizations.

  19. 19 Making Your Chapter Official • Once incorporated, Chapter Charter is issued from SIM Headquarters • New Chapter is established throughout all back office systems (web site, database, accounting, etc.) • Press Release announcing new Chapter • Invitations sent to Chapter for all standing meetings. • Schedule Local Chapter on-boarding conference call • Overall Support for New Chapter • Vote by Executive Board
