  2. All Blood Is Precious Abel’s blood cried from the ground. Genesis 4:10 “Whoso sheds man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed.” Genesis 9:5, 6. “For the life of the flesh is in the blood…” Leviticus 17:11

  3. The Blood of Jesus Most precious of all. • Is the blood of God-Man • The only blood of the human race that is holy, spotless and undefiled. • Is the only blood acceptable to redeem lost mankind

  4. Man Needs A Savior • All men are sinners • All are under the curse of God’s law • Without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin

  5. Christ Is Our Savior God promised a Redeemer to Adam and Eve Abel was redeemed by his faith Israel was redeemed by the shed blood of the sacrificial lamb Our redemption was made by the death of Jesus, the Lamb of God

  6. Peace With God We have peace with God through the blood of the cross. “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:1

  7. The Blood of Jesus Gives Justification Justification is a legal term which means “declared righteous before the law.” “Having been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.” Romans 5:9

  8. When A Christian Sins “If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” 1st John 1:9 The solution: “…the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” 1st John 1:7

  9. Access To God’s Throne “Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus by a new and living way,…” Hebrews 10:19

  10. The Blood Sanctifies Sanctify means “set apart”. • Positional – We are no longer under condemnation • Progressive- our lives become more and more set apart from the carnal life • Perfect – In Heaven our glorified bodies will be in a perfect environment

  11. Forever Precious “You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open it seals: For You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation.” Revelation 5:9
