  3. Checklist for Setup • Do you have power to the POS? • Are you sharing power with heavy equipment? • Do you need assistance? • Q: If the terminal freezes, how do I reboot it? • A: Unplug and re-plug • Push and hold the power button till it powers off, push it again to turn it on

  4. Checklist for Setup • 1. Swipe your card at the terminal • Touch the ‘Show Booth Items’ button • Are all your items in the show? • 4. Know the cards • Vendor Card • Customer Card • Sales Card

  5. Don’t wait until the last minute to check your items. See the show host if you are missing items or allowances.

  6. Starting the Order • Swipe Customer Card • Mag strip to the outside

  7. The Ordering Screen • Select the correct booth if you are sharing a terminal • Focus on Targeted Items (Yellow)

  8. Understanding the Buttons 3 Cases Booked New Item – No History History = 10 – Nothing Ordered Success! Target Item – 1 case booked at booth History = 10 – 11 Ordered Target Item – Nothing Ordered

Focus on Targeted Items • Targeted Items will be highlighted in a contrasting color on the POS screens • A “Show Specials” report will be distributed to customers, helping them to seek out deals across the show floor • These items have been selected by sales reps for you and the customer to focus on at the show.

  10. Targeted Items are highly likely to sell. Sales reps have chosen these items due to their high penetration opportunity, so pay special attention to them as you interact with customers.

  11. Book for the Entire Shipping Period • Choose and item and the ordering screen pops up • Order by individual weeks or across all weeks • No Math! • To delete an order, change its value to ‘0’ • To change the quantity, simply enter a new number

  12. Multiple Ways to Sort and Navigate • Alpha • Quantity • Numeric

  13. Page From the Booth ‘Page SalesPerson to This Booth’ pages the sales rep of that customer to the booth.

  14. Page From the Booth The sales rep receives a page with the customer and attendee name, directing them to your booth.

  15. Collect a Lead • Customers can choose “Item Interest” when they aren’t ready to commit to a purchase • Pre-configured selections are available, designating what needs to happen after the show • This allows you to track and secure future business

  16. Anytime a customer isn’t ready to make a purchase, take a lead. This will give their sales rep the best opportunity to earn the sale after the show.

  17. Check Your Stats • Swipe your booth card (the one that came with your terminal) • Select ‘Show Booth Stats’ • Reports will be provided by the show host via email after the show

  18. Getting Help • Service Booth (not registration) • Name Badges • Item modifications • Negotiation or Vendor Cards • Page DCC • Any questions or problems with your terminal

  19. Reports • No vendor reports at the show • Use your vendor card to check stats • Customers can get an exit report in the lobby

  20. Checklist for the End of Show • Unplug your terminal • Bring it to DCC staff near large crates • Broken terminals are $1500 Each!

  21. FAQ • Are there more instructions in my vendor packet? • My machine is locked, I can’t place the order. What do I do? • Why are some items yellow for one customer and not for another? • Where do I get name badges for my people? • Where and when can I get help to modify items in my booth?
