  2. The students will learn: • What are the different seasons? • What happens during each season? • During what time is each season? • Different animal behaviors during different seasons?

  3. Essential & Unit Questions • Why do we have seasons? • Why are they important? • During what months is winter, summer, fall, autumn? • What are the different reactions to the seasons by animals(covered in class)?

Bloom’s Taxonomy • Knowledge: remembering previous learned information to draw out answers either wrong or right • Comprehension: understanding the information obtained. • Application: applying previously known knowledge to new and unknown situations • Analysis: breaking down information into parts and trying to understand it all • Synthesis: using prior knowledge and skills to join elements into a pattern that did not exist before • Evaluation: deciding according to some information without a right or wrong answers

The student knows that there are recognizable patterns in the natural world and among objects in the sky. The student is expected to: • (A) observe and describe weather changes from day to day and over seasons; • (B) identify events that have repeating patterns, including seasons of the year and day and night; and • (C) observe, describe, and illustrate objects in the sky such as the clouds, Moon, and stars, including the Sun.
