This report outlines ongoing and proposed FANRPAN projects aimed at strengthening agricultural policy and food security in Southern Africa. Key initiatives include institutionalizing FANRPAN as a hub for research-based policy analysis, addressing the impacts of HIV/AIDS on agriculture, and advancing biotechnology and biosafety. Through collaborations with various stakeholders and funding partners, FANRPAN aims to promote dialogue, improve food security, and support sustainable agricultural practices. The current portfolio consists of nine projects valued at approximately $832,950, alongside proposed initiatives amounting to $10.8 million.

Title: Regional Policy Dialogues and Publications • Objectives: • Increase stakeholders’ engagement in regional food and agriculture policies – supports dialogue, information dissemination. • Collaborators: • RECs; regional civil society organizations, Government • Funding Partner: • CTA $190,000
