  1. MSA VISION 03-04 March 2009

  2. 1 MSA VISION The Vision of an organisation should be determined by one single word –Values Values The non-negotiable principles, standards and qualities that define an organisation’s beliefs and ways of doing things

  3. 2 VALUES Describe what an organisation stands for Establish moral and ethical priorities that guide an organisation in its decision making and actions Assist an organisation in maintaining its integrity

  4. 3 VALUE STATEMENTS Not too many Easy to remember Clearly understood Everyone can “Buy In”

  5. 4 VALUES Fairness and transparency should lead all processes Professionalism related to competences (volunteers and experts) – good functioning in the sport has a consequence on the image (credibility) MSA should continuously encourage volunteerism and professionalism through passion and commitment

  6. 5 VALUES • Inclusion must be related to fairness (participation open to all) – unity instead of inclusion • Organisation must adopt, develop and maintain the highest standards of fairness and safety, (In MSA’s case, also be committed to transformation and sustainability of the environment)

  7. 6 VALUES • Be transparent and professional in everything it does • Without volunteers, MSA could not exist. Volunteerism is the backbone of MSA and motorsport. It is linked to passion. Training and responsibility should always lead to recognition of all volunteers
