The Northumberland Disability and Deaf Network aims to unite disabled and deaf individuals across the region, enhancing their voices in policy-making and service provision. Stemming from efforts by Adapt and regional Equalities Partners, the network operates as a participatory initiative that fosters collaboration among individuals and organizations. Focused on effectively engaging with disabled and deaf communities, the network identifies access issues and strives to influence policy for better services. Funded by the User Led Development Fund, it supports projects that empower local communities.
