  3. About the UW PD • Internationally accredited ~ CALEA • 50 commissioned law enforcement officers • 30 civilian employees • Enhanced 911 Communications Center • Mutual Aid Agreement with Seattle Police

About the UW PD cont’d • Primary jurisdiction on campus – population of 68, 000 • IPT Area North of 45th – MOU • Budget of approximately 5.5 million/yr • Officers attend academy with other state wide-officer, except WSP • Very similar in size and scope of other large urban universities • Reports to Vice President/Vice Provost for Student Life
