  3. WorkwellAssessment • We begin the membership with a complete Workwell Assessment. This enables us to know where your members stand in relation to the legislation. From this we create an action plan for you to be in complete compliance. This also helps us understand your needs for a Policy and Procedure manual. • With the ease of following a “yes/no” action plan, getting members into compliance is simple.

  4. Policy and Procedure Manual We custom build and design each Policy and Procedure manual specifically for each member. We begin with a blank template and mix and match from over 300 templates to ensure that your manual is 100% compliant with legislation. Members will receive a soft copy of the manual in order to easily find and print forms if need be. Employee handbooks are also included in the creation of the manual. Part of the program includes our helping each member to roll out their policies to their employees – we help in every step along the way. Our exclusive HOTLINE is there for each person to call to ask questions, and our professionals are there, waiting to answer them all.

  5. Training Database Unfortunately tragedy can happen, and in the event of a records loss, be it from fire, theft or some other means, we have all of your training records held off site to ensure that in any circumstance, we will be here to help get things back in place. With the Database, members are able to schedule their own training with a few clicks of the mouse. See who needs to be recertified in which courses, and who is up for renewal. This feature allows the members to easily keep track of their employee training records. While we are protecting the employees, members are protected even more, by having every activity documented in the process – all of which can be found in the members database. Where we are, what is next, and where to go from there.

  6. Training Our exclusive Live Studio training allows for more flexibility, more ease of use, and ALWAYS interaction with our members. Every course that we provide is done with a live instructor through a webinar based program. This program ensures that a course will run. With over 700 members Canada wide, our courses can accommodate 1 person, or 100 people easily. No minimum participants required. Have a new hire that needs to be trained right away? No problem, call the hotline number and we can have them trained with a prerecorded session. They will still have a live person on the phone with them, and we will be there to help, and answer any questions that they have. There is always live interaction.

  10. Bill 160 – Where we are going Bill 160 changes the entire landscape of Occupational Health and Safety. We are a very strong advocate for this bill, and have had discussions with the government as part of their development of this new act. Employers First has been on top of this legislation, and are ready, and more than capable of “jumping through the hoops” for certification, and accreditation. When the time comes, we are already prepared.

  11. ADVISORY BOARD Every month we will be meeting with our advisory board for 1 hour. The date of the next meeting will be decided at the end of each meeting. These meetings are held in a virtual board room with full video and audio. This is a place where Members will have a chance to bring to the table suggestions and will have the opportunity to brain storm and discuss new ideas to help advance the offerings for Employers First. Other topics will include changes from the Ministry of Labour, WSIB, WorkSafe, Human Resources and Revenue Canada . The outcome of each meeting will be passed on to the rest of the Members. We are looking for Members to fill out an application as your input matters. As a benefit for being a Member, $50.00 from each attended meeting will be subtracted from your membership renewal cost. If you attend all 8 meetings, that’s a savings of $400.00 on your Renewals plus other small rewards. If you feel you can give us a minimum of 4 or more of the 8 meetings per year, please fill out our Application. All meetings will be held at either 6:00pm or 7:00pm Eastern Standard Time. We are looking for a minimum of 6 members per meeting. This opportunity is a first come first serve basis.
