Library Am Guisanplatz (BiG) • Founded in 1848 as Federal Military Library (FML) • 27.10.2007: newname «Library Am Guisanplatz» • Since2009: Leadinglibraryofthe Alexandria Network • Collections: • Centre of excellence for specialised military literature • Civilianfields : history, politics, environment, law, civilprotection, financesandeconomics etc. • 573‘000 books, 5‘960 journals, articles, EOD • Users: • Federal Administration + Army • Public library
