Solution: After receiving a text from my wife about the crowdsourcing of data on my iPhone during prep, my student teacher and I quickly went to Twitter to check trending topics.
Solution: Before I could launch the crowdsourcing initiative, I had to brief my students about the story to establish context for the day’s activities.
