  2. EDA and CDBG Programs During the life of the EDA and CDBG loan programs: • Funded 255 loans for a total of $127 Million • Created and retained over 3,500 jobs

  3. Loan Features • Loans fund property acquisitions, construction, equipment, and working capital. • Loans range from $50,000 to $5 million • Interest rates range from 3.5% to 6% • Terms are 2.5 to 20 years

  4. County Business Loan Program • Loan Amount $140,000 • Optometry Clinic start-up • Working capital, equipment & inventory • 4 new jobs created • Unincorporated Area of Altadena • Real estate Collateral

  5. County Business Loan Program • Loan Amount $750,000 • Property acquisition • Rebuilt auto parts and distributor • 22 new jobs created • City of La Puente • Real estate collateral (1st deed of trust)
