  3. Celebrations and Traditions Boxing day back then was where people at church would get a box then people would come and put money in the box so homeless people could get money. Today people go to Equestrian events. Boxing day takes place on December the 26th.

  4. Important Characters Baby Jesus is God’s son. And was sent to the Earth to die on the cross for our sins. They call Santa father Christmas. He gives presents to all the children.

  5. Gifts They give the same gifts as we do. Their gift giving tradition in England is they make Christmas crackers.

  6. Decorations They decorate their houses with lights. They put ornaments on their tree.

  7. Food They eat plum pudding, mince pie , Christmas cake , turkey, potatoes and brussels sprouts.

  8. Interesting Information Kids in England make letters to Santa but instead of mailing them they throw the letters up the chimney and think that Father Christmas will get it. People in England make Christmas crackers but they are not food.
