Shannon Simmons

My name is Shannon Simmons, and I am a Regulatory Compliance Analyst at the IRB with almost 9 years of experience in Behavioral and Social Sciences as well as Health Sciences. With a background in Psychology, I previously worked in mental health and the juvenile court system. I'm a proud mother of two talented teenage boys who excel in various sports, including basketball and track, where they rank nationally. I coach the Williamson Youth Track Club and enjoy spending time with my family, running, and engaging in sports activities during my spare time.

  1. Shannon Simmons My Name is Shannon Simmons and I am a regulatory Compliance Analyst 4 with the IRB. I have worked on the Behavioral and Social Sciences side as well as Health and Sciences and have been at the IRB for almost 9 years. My back ground is in Psychology, but before coming to the IRB I have also worked in mental health and within the juvenile court system. I have two teenage boys both in high school and very talented athletes that play basketball, cross country, football, and track. Both are ranked #1 nationally in two events in track and field and ranked within the top 3 in several others.

  2. I am on the Board and the Head sprint, multi-events and jumps coach for the Williamson Youth Track club which is a competitive Summer youth track team that competes nationally in AAU and USA track and field meets. • In my spare time (when I have it) , I love to spend time with my husband and family, run, play any kind of sport, and love working with youth in sports.
