  4. Operation • Annual membership fee $70 • No paid staff • Meets once a week for 90 minutes • Board of directors • Facilitator roles • Pays $90 a year for room

  5. Bonding and Bridging Social Capital • Bonding • Within the group • Showing vulnerability • Developing friendships • Bridging • Across age groups • Professional backgrounds • Gender • Ethnicities

  6. Community Building • Strengths social capital within businesses, universities, and some neighborhoods • Enhances skill building for individuals which could help the community • Traditional orientation attracts conservatives and de-motivates liberals
