  3. REMEMBER: • no matter what you do to improve your personality, there always will be someone who does not like you. You cannot mold a personality that will be uniformly desirable in everybody’s eyes.

  4. What Men Admire in Women • 1.Neatness and cleanliness • 2.Intelligence • 3.Couresy and good manners • 4.Cheerfulness • 5.Co-operativeness • 6.A good figure • 7.Smartness in clothing

  5. 8. Sociability—the ability to mix • 9. Beauty • 10.An even temper • 11.Trustworthiness and dependability • 12.Unselfishness • 13.Loyalty • 14.Health • 15.Ability to cook and keep house

  8. Look at the tow lists again and notice hoe similar they are. Four of the first five traits are identical: • neatness and cleanliness, • good manners and courtesy, cheerfulness, • Intelligence

  9. Don’t these lists give us a pretty good idea of the sort of personality people admire? • Of the kind we should want to have?

  10. Inasmuch as most of us are not particularly pretty or handsome, the ranking of these items should be encouraging. The women placed handsome features in 15th,and the men rated beauty 9th. Beauty, handsome, and perfect physique are clearly not the most important factors in personal attractiveness.
