As we grow our bones morph together • Did you know the most dangerous animals is the house fly because they fly around animal waste and they bring us diseases • Did you know it takes approximately 12 hours for our food to fully digest? • In total there are about 400 million dogs in the world • Leopards protect there food from other animals by dragging it into a high tree • A female giraffe gives birth standing up so the baby falls approximately 6 feet but is not hurt from the fall • Some dolphin species face the threat of extinction, often from result of human behavior. The Yangtze River Dolphin is a dolphin species which may have recently become extinct. • Around half of the tiger cubs born die before even two years of age • A group of cats is called a clowder a male cat is a tom, a female cat is called a molly or queen, and young cats are called kittens. • Lions are the national animals of Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, England, Ethiopia, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Singapore. • Unlike other species of shark, the great white is warm-blooded. Although the great white does not keep a constant body temperature, it needs to eat a lot of meat in order to be able to regulate its temperature.
