First Year Reflections • MBTI (ESFJ) – Extrovert (like working in teams; Sensing (pay close attention to details; Feeling (base decisions on my values), Judging (planner and organized) • LCI – Sequence is my used first preference (need step by step directions, complete projects from beginning to end); Precision is the second preference (documents most everything, takes detailed notes)

  4. First Year Reflections (continued) • Technical Reasoning and Confluence are areas of avoidance. • Did not get a very clear understanding of SPSS; I needed step by step directions from beginning to end • The Writing course was very helpful with APA and as a refresher for basic writing skills. • Leadership courses were very interesting and textbooks are an excellent reference source for later use (Five Dysfunctions of a Team and the Bolman & Deal text).

  5. First Year Reflections (continued) • Policy course – learned to evaluate policies and review cost effectiveness of the policy. • Ethical Decision-Making – Leaders character; The Shadows of Leadership; Leadership Theories

  8. Goals • Become more familiar with current APA Style • Work with different individuals within the cohort • Increase knowledge of using SPSS • Apply concepts learned in making decisions/leadership within my school
