Progress Report

This report outlines the third progress update on the OpenDVC project led by Hsiao Yi, focusing on data collection and testing of OpenDVC 1.0 with various sequences (Foreman, Coast Guard, Soccer, Hall Monitor). The results were compared against DISCOVER using collected data to analyze performance with H.264/AVC and H.263 compression standards. Additionally, insights from related literature were gathered to explore potential future research avenues, including machine learning applications and video resolution enhancement techniques through image processing.

Progress • Collect data of OpenDVC • Test the OpenDVC 1.0 with Foreman , Coast Guard , Soccer ,and Hall Moniter sequence (find a bug,have fixed by 威孝學長) • Compare result with DISCOVER(also using the data they had collected to compare the performancewith H.264/AVC(Intra).
