  3. Why Volunteer? • positive involvement in your own community • develop an understanding of others • build your own knowledge, skills and direction • demonstrate your character

  4. NSW Premier’s Student Volunteering Awards • at least 20 hours through Years 9 and 10 • different levels – bronze  diamond • recognition of activities both within and outside school
