Master of Architecture in Architectural Design (International Program) The Master of Architecture in Architectural Design (International Program) at Chulalongkorn University is an advanced architecture program based in Bangkok, Thailand.  The program is designed for students who have earned a five-year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) as well as those who have earned architecturally focused pre-professional degrees such as the B.A. or B.S. with a major in Architectural Design, the Bachelor of Environmental Design Degree, or equivalent. The Master of Architecture Program emphasizes course work and supervised independent design/research exploration in one of the following areas of study: + Architectural Design+ Sustainable Technology and Innovation+ Architectural History, Theory and Criticism+ Architectural Practice and Management Research topics outside the above mentioned fields may be undertaken subject to approval of the Graduate Program committee. The curriculum The  curriculum consists of a 36 credits of coursework and thesis including: Required courses            12 CreditsElective courses              12 CreditsThesis                               12 Credits *Applicants who hold a bachelor of science in Architectural Design or equivalent are required to take additional courses in design, technology and professional practice of at least 12 credits. Graduate Admission Requirements 1. A bachelor’s degree in architecture (5-year B.Arch.) or architectural/environmental design (4-Year B.Sc./B.A.) from an accredited institution or recognized equivalent2. A minimum grade-point average (GPA) of 2.503. TOEFL or CU-TEP score of at least 550 or 6.0 on the IELTS Application Materials 1. English proficiency test score2. A-4 size portfolio of creative works3. Two letters of recommendation4. Statement of purpose5. Official transcript(s)6.
