Internship Program Purpose of Internship Program • Career-related work experience for qualified students • Extension of a student’s academic program • Opportunity for practical application and testing of principles and theories
Internship Program Classification • Complete and apply an internship in one of two ways • For three academic credits applied as an elective • Not-for-credit • One credit internships are available during the summer and winter break • All DSB internship listings qualify for credit • Students may receive both academic credit and compensation • Internships are offered Fall, Spring and Summer
