  1. Amy’s Journey Task Copy the table below and fill in the information as we follow Amy throughout the day.

  2. After waking up and having her breakfast Amy goes to the car for her journey to school. The car is already waiting on the drive unlocked, and Amy jumps in to wait for her mum.

  3. Amy’s mum closes the door behind her leaving the keys under the plant pot so that her brother Sam can get into the house after school.

  4. Amy is dropped at school. She has to cross a busy dual carriageway where there are no designated crossings, and the speed limit is 60mph.

  5. Amy goes off to buy some clothes and CDs. She meets her mother back at ASDA where they do the shopping together. While her mum looks at the electrical goods, Amy wanders off to get some sweets leaving her clothes and CDs on the trolley seat.

  6. When she gets home Amy decidesto walk through the local park. She notices that there is chewing gum and dog mess on the floor. The play equipment has just been painted bright white.

  7. She gets back home and goes on the internet to buy a book. She gives her mums credit card details in the on line payment form. She leaves the PC on and goes to bed.

  8. As she falls asleep she leaves the bedroom window open to get some air.
