  2. CONFERENCE CENTRE POLICIESThe Conference Centre is provided for the use of Central Park tenants only. Bookings are limited to seminars, workshops, meetings and video conferences. All bookings are to be made online at: www.central-park.com.au. Please see your Tenant Liaison representative if you do not have authorised access.Bookings for all facilities may only be made three months in advance and no booking is confirmed until you receive an e-mail confirmation from the Central Park Concierge Desk. The date the initial booking was made must be entered into “Notes/Requests along with the following: Catering Y/N, how many people attending, Caterers / Audio Visual staff on site Y/N, if yes, have they been Inducted, any Hire Equipment being delivered, if so, Hire Company details along with delivery/pickup details. Should you not require a confirmed booking, please take the time to cancel so others may use the facilities. Lighting, air conditioning and non-cancellation (“no show”) charges may be applied to tenants who do not cancel their bookings giving 24 hours notice.Specific room set up is the responsibility of the tenant. All furniture in the Conference Room & the Seminar Room must be returned to its original position and all catering must be cleared away immediately after service. Failure to do so will result in a cleaning charge being applied.No social function, music, entertainment, decoration or signage is permitted within the Conference Centre without prior authorisation from Central Park Management.Food and drinks are not permitted in the Theatrette at any time.Any costs for cleaning or repairs resulting from damage to the facilities will be invoiced to the respective tenant.

  3. Utility and Operational Fees will apply for out of hours use before 7.00am and after 6.00pm (Mon- Fri) and at all times over week-ends. Please do not remove any paintings from any walls, or stick anything onto any of the walls.All catering preparation is to be carried out in the Conference Centre kitchen. The oven is provided for re-heating purposes only and NO portable ovens are to be used. All Hire Equipment must be delivered to the kitchen and collected from the kitchen, preferably at the conclusion of function. If an evening function, items may be stored in the kitchen overnight (no perishable items) but MUST be collected by 7.30am. As the kitchen is usually locked, access can be arranged by visiting the Concierge Desk in the main Lobby.Inductions: All Caterers/Audio Visual persons working on a function must be inducted to CentralPark prior to commencement of work. Inductions are conducted at the Security Office located on B3 (Basement 3 in our underground Car Park) and takes approximately 30 minutes. Inductions can be processed prior to the date of the function.All Catering / Audio Visual staff must sign in at B3 Security Office prior to commencement of work each time they visit the building. This facility has a complete range of visual and audio inputs that is controlled by a number of touch screen panels.Technical facilities include:· Ceiling mounted LCD colour projectors· Motorised wall projector screen· PAL and NTSC video inputs and outputs· DVD (multi zone)· CD audio· Free-to-air television· Broadband internet connectivity (no Wifi)· IBM and Apple compatible system· Remote controllable lighting and sound· Lectern· Hand held, lapel, fixed & headset microphones. Conference RoomThe Conference Room seats a maximum of 20 people in a boardroom style arrangement.The room is equipped with the following technical equipment to ensure conferences are conducted in a professional manner:. Ceiling mounted LCD colour projector. Motorised wall sized projector screen. Video, PC, and audio inputs. Internet connection (no Wifi). Dimmable lighting. Lectern. Electronic whiteboard. Costs relating to conference calls invoiced to tenantSeminar RoomThe Seminar Room is permanently set up in boardroom style seating for 22 people. It can accommodate up to 26 boardroom style, 40 people theatre style, and with worktables in place 30 people can be seated comfortably.This room is equipped with the following technical equipment to ensure seminars are conducted in a professional manner:· Ceiling mounted LCD colour projector· Motorised wall sized projector screen· PAL and NTSC video inputs and outputs· Broadcast television· Broadband internet connectivity (no Wifi)· IBM and Apple compatible system· Remote controllable lighting and sound· Lapel & hand held microphones · Whiteboard .   7. Foyer AreaThis is a welcoming and introduction area to all visitors to the Conference Centre. The plasma screen in the foyer displays bookings for the Conference Centre at that specific time of the day.Equipped with a large servery, bar fridges, all ideal for catering, and complimented by a kitchen nearby with a fridge, oven, microwave and dishwasher. The foyer is ideal for small exhibitions, tea/ coffee breaks, cocktail parties or a combination of functions.In order to use the foyer area, you need to book both the Theatrette & Seminar Rooms whether you use the rooms or not, as this secures the total area for your use. All catering preparation is to be carried out in the Conference Centre kitchen. The oven is provided for re-heating purposes only and NO portable ovens are to be used.The serving of alcohol may be subject to the provision of a liquor license (dependant on the nature of the event).
