  4. Develop New Churches We seek to regularly plant and develop new local churches of like identity and purpose.

  5. Strategic View • Development of Process for Church Planting • Development of Pipeline for Church Planters • Development of Protocols • Development of Procedures for Churches and Planters

  6. Tactical View Process: • Advertising/Marketing • Conference Exposure • Local Church Education • Financial Resources

Tactical View Pipeline: • Discovery of Planters- MMA Church Network Referrals, Bible Colleges, Seminaries, Para-Church Associations, Ad-Hoc Connections. • Development of Planters - MMA Development and Education, Church Network, Bible Colleges, Seminaries and Para-Church Associations. • Deployment of Planters – Financial resources, people resources, ongoing resource commitment.

  11. Cultivate Church Leaders We likewise seek to equip pastors and other church leaders with tools and resources that allow them to pursue excellence in ministry under the sovereign hand of God. We are committed to see systematic transformation that leads to health, growth, the making of new disciples and eventually congregational reproduction. We will accomplish this through a strategy that includes the following elements.

Why Have LEAD Teams? • To help pastors and other ministry leaders grow in their understanding of leadership • To develop their effectiveness as leaders • For mutual accountability • For mutual support and encouragement • For friendship and fellowship • To become the incubators for church planting

  13. What is a LEAD Team? • Peer to Peer Learning Community • Led by Ministry Practitioner Mentor • Meeting regularly for: • Learning • Encouragement • Accountability • Dreaming

Shape of a LEAD Team • Frequency (Typically monthly) • Length of Meetings (Each cluster chooses their preferred meeting day(s), times and model.) • Day and half model – “Town and Country Model” • One day model – “Metropolitan Model” • Half –day model – “Metropolitan Model” for “busy Type A” pastors • Virtual meeting model – “Bridge line, GoToMeeting.com and mini-cam Model • Location • A single, regular meeting place • Or rotate through the locations of each cluster member

  16. Building Healthy Churches Using consultation, evaluation, assessment and targeted tools, we seek to assist member churches in achieving and maintaining church health.

Building Healthy Churches Lifestyle Stewardship Ministries: • Hold live seminars to teach basic lifestyle stewardship principles that help individuals understand how God has uniquely designed them, how they fit into the puzzle of life and how financial stewardship and estate planning fit into God’s program • Work with churches to identify and train coaches who will disciple individuals who desire a biblical stewardship lifestyle.

  21. Assisting Pastors and Churches A crisis can sometimes overwhelm a pastor or a church. When invited, we come alongside pastors and churches in crisis to help resolve conflict, solve problems and restore healthy relationships to the glory of God.

Assisting Pastors and Churches • Facilitate ongoing education on peacemaking through training events. • Support church leadership by providing conflict coaching or mediation in conflict situations. • Network with other like-minded churches to encourage and support one another in promoting and practicing Biblical peacemaking. • Accelerate the spread of peacemaking throughout CBAmerica.
