  3. THE CONTEXT TheRomantroops, startedto invade Great Britain at 118bC. Hadrian, theRomanemperor at those times, built a longwall, toprotecthispeopleand thelandtheyhadalreadyconquered.

  4. THE WALL TheHadrian’s Wall was 5 meters high and 4 meters wide. Every 2 kilometers there was a fort where 1500 soldiers were living. They use the British rocks to built the wall, They etxtracted the stones of the British hills.

  5. THE CONSTRUCTION TheRomanstartedtobuiltthe Wall, calledHadrian’swall, in 120bC. Theybuiltit in 9 years. Theyfinishedit in 129bC. Theyused a lot of slavestobuiltit. The Wall stretched for over 100Km across Northern Britain, and was 5 metres high and 4 meters wide.

  7. HADRIAN Hadrianwasthe 14th emperor of theRomanEmpire. He wasbornon 24th January in 76 aC and he died in Baiaon 10th July in 138 aC at theage of 74. He wasthe responsable of theconstruction of theHadrian’swall. HisparentswereAeliusHadrianus, and Dominia Paulina. He hadtwosonsTrajan and Antonius. He conquered Mesopotamia, Armenia and Dacia.
