  2. What we will discuss: Plagiarism is defined as: Copying someone's work without crediting the source. Representing the words or ideas of another as one's own.

  3. Paraphrasing is restating something, using your own words to convey the same meaning. To do this without plagiarizing, you need to refer to the original work using a footnote, an endnote, or a parenthetical notation.
