Paris, France June 14, 2010. Today is my first day. It seems to be a wonderful summer vacations. Mom was right about this wonderful country being my first stop, France. I can smell the aroma of the flowers here in Paris. The Eifel tower seems to be so far away from the airport and I can’t wait to visit it. Here I am, 30 minutes later, in the Eifel Tower. It is not a dream anymore; I am actually seeing it in real life!
June 16. My taxi just arrived. I am going back to my hotel. Throughout the windows I see people in the streets. Walking and wondering about their next purchase in the downtown of Paris. No doubt, it is going to be a great experience.
June 17 5:00pm and I am waiting for my ride to the Louvre museum. It is the most important museum here in Paris and I can’t wait to see the Mona Lisa 7:30 pm Here I am standing just in front of the museum. Is my first night here in Paris and it seems to be the most beautiful night I have ever had. The people around here are very friendly. I just love to heard their French accent . I can smell the coffee from the coffee shop next to me. Coffee taste is a combination of worries, happiness and a little bit of confidence.
My visit in the museum was unforgettable. I had the opportunity to see the Mona Lisa and other famous paintings from Leonardo Da Vinci. After my visit to the museum, I returned to my hotel and this is how I will end my first page of this travel log that not only will testify the great places I am going to visit, but will keep all the emotions, smells and cultures I am about to experience.
London, England June 18 Today I woke up at 6 in the morning. My flight was at 7:00 am and that’s how I arrived here, to London. Right now I’m sitting down in front of the Big Ben. It’s a cold day, and no matter how many scarves I decide to wear, the cold still penetrate my body as if I was naked. In two hours I will visit the most popular places in here for shopping. It is incredible how nice is here.
June 20. It’s my third day here in London. A few days ago, I had the opportunity to shop in Regent Street. It is the main shopping street here in London. The food is very simmilar to American Food. 11:00 pm Tomorrow I will visit St Paul’s Cathedral. After that, I will eat in the coffee shop where the Beatles started their music. It’s a cloudy day!
June 23.It is almost a dream come true. I almost can see the pyramids from right here. Of course it is a great country. In the airport I ate some weird sandwich that made me hungrier instead. Here I am, standing, smelling and staring at these great pyramids that transmit me not just joy, but peace. My arrive here was the most unusual I ever had in my life, I rode a camel. My next stop will be the Talaat Harb Street in which enormous paintings posters, advertising films, are placed in the walls.
Talaat Harb Street June 22 I am in the best Cairo Shopping street. People say it is prettier at night, and I guess they are right It is beautiful right here. I have just ate some weird food, but it was delicious Today I woke up at 8 in the morning and I got myself ready to go to the Mouizz en Din Allah Street, in which magnificent Islamic monuments will be there and I will be able to contemplate them.
Lisbon, Portugal June 24. Today I arrived here to Portugal. I will take this day off and just stay in my hotel, which is really elegant. I have so many things to contemplate right here. One of them is this beautiful tower called Tower of Belem. So far, my vacations are going great! I have tasted more than 7 different coffee flavors, and no matter how many do I taste, I will come to the same conclusion There is nothing in this world more relaxing than a coffee cup in the morning, just like The one I had today here, in Lisbon.
June 25. 7:29 am This is my second day in Portugal. I had breakfast in the most contemporaneous restaurant I have ever been in. 6:33 pm Now I am at Leira, north of Lisbon, it is a modern town with a fantastic castle from the 14th Century. I have never seen a castle and I really love it. For today will be my only place to visit. 9:32 pm My train just have arrived. I am in my way back to my hotel.
June 27. Today is a new day here in Portugal. I am excited to go and visit Fatima. It is a worldwide famous town because of its religious credibility. Today is my last day in here Everyone was right about this place. It is really pretty at night . Its 9:00 pm. It’s a beautiful night This place is full of peace; full of dreams and miracles.
India I have been here since last Thursday, June 28, and It is incredible all I have learn in a few days It feels great been in the Asian Continent. It is nothing alike to America. The Indian Culture is very different and their people are very traditional. Here I am, in a very poor community but fill with amazing people. They are weird and I look weird to them too. The way they look at me right now is very questionable. Rajasthani food is the main plate here in India. People here use to eat on the floor And all the food around them. It is very traditional, but weird at the same time
I am standing just in front of the Taj Mahal and I feel so may emotions impossible to describe in this paper I see people walking in their traditional clothes, I see some others impressed just like I am right know.
June 30. 6 in the morning and I am ready to go and visit Nainital River. It is a beautiful serene and green hill station in which I will be doing a pick nick with some friends I made the yesterday. This river is also a border with China and Nepal. People say its water changes color to green to blue. Maybe I will be one of the lucky ones to see it. From right here, where I am sitting down, the water is blue. If I go down a few steps, the water then will become green. There is something in my mind, something I have never heard of. My mind call it nature company, but my heart calls it solitude. My last place to visit here is. I just will be there for a few Kulumanali hours because I have to return to the hotel, pack my belongs and go.
Cambodia July 2. This country is my last one in my list. I have been here two days already and I can’t express how beautiful this place is. Everything seems calmly. Right now I am in the Angkor Archeological Park. The trees here are huge. Almost no one in here speaks English because the official language of Cambodia is Khmer, which is also referred to as Cambodian.
I just ate breakfast and I got my self ready to visit Phnum Penh, the capital and largest city here in CambodiaIt is very hot here in Cambodia, just like the desert where now I live. 9:38 am. I have just arrived to Phnum Penh. I am eating Prohoc, is rotten fish which is left to ferment to become a fish paste and rice.
Here in Cambodia, people use to meditate a lot. I am Kanduboda Meditation Center . Some of them do it in the water just like the guy I am seeing right now. Some others go to the most traditional way, in the ground. Either way, it’s a beautiful method to let the stress behind and have a better and healthy life
Today is my last day here in Cambodia. Tomorrow I will returned to America and then, this whole experience will be part of a Travel Log and will be share with other people. Of course the will think my trip was all about talking pictures and writing notes, but it wasn’t. This trip was all about finding new cultures, new people and finding me.
