  2. Introductory Thoughts Two of the most amazing questions that one can ask are found in Psalm 8:4 & Ruth 2:10. The more that I learn about God, the more I too am compelled to wonder "Why does God Care about such a man as I?" 4. How Near is God to Me? – Vs 7-12 Where Can One Hide from God? – Verses 7 Can One Hide in Heaven or Hell? – Verse 8 Can One Hide in the Uttermost Parts of the Sea? – Verses 9-10 Can One Hide in the Darkness of Night? – Verses 11-12

  6. The Psalmist David’s Prayer – Vs 19-24 Many might ask, "Why does David make an abrupt change in this psalm?“ Why does David ask that God destroy the wicked? David had contemplated and concluded that God knew him, was near him, and concerned about him; therefore, David sought to ask something from God Isn’t this exactly what we do when we think of God’s love for us?

  7. The Psalmist David’s Prayer – Vs 19-24 David Requested 2 Things from God Asked for God to Get Rid of the Wicked. – Verses 19-22 David Asked for God to Get Rid of His Own Wickedness. – Verses 23-24

  8. Concluding Thoughts Who are you to God? Do you really think God cares for you? These are two very probing questions that require deep and searching thought.
