National Board tests are not the only tests given at the centers. You will have a LOT of competition for testing appointments.

    3. When can I make my appointment? The testing window is open from January 4th to June 15th. (updated testing window for 2010-2011 is not posted yet, but it will be similar) You must have received your Authorization to Test paperwork from NBPTS before you can schedule your appointment.

    4. What should I have ready? You must send in all forms and pay all fees to NBPTS by January 31, 2011. You cannot schedule your appointment until all fees are paid. Stay on top of this. The link to this guide is on the NBPTS website under assessment center. http://www.vue.com/nbpts/ Step one Create a web account. You will receive an e-mail that allows you to continue to the second step. (This can be done before you receive your authorization to test. Do it now! One less thing to deal with later!)
