Highlights from October 9, 2009: Events, Lunch Menu, and Announcements

On Friday, October 9, 2009, students enjoyed a lunch menu featuring hamburgers, fish, and mixed fruit. Key events included the "Nightmare in Nashport: Trail of Terror" happening over the weekends of October 9, 10, 16, 17, and more, with free parking available.   6. Volunteers Needed • Mr. Furek is looking for people to work the Haunted Trail this weekend • Also, people are needed to work at the Dresden Fire Department on Sunday • See Mr. Furek in T-5

  7. Seniors • If you might attend OUZ next year • Complete an application and give it to Mrs. Morgan this week • OUZ has agreed to waive the $20 application fee through this today • Applications are available in the counseling office

  8. O’Brian Youth Seminar Applicants • All applications are to be filled out and turned in to the counselors’ office by early November

  9. Military Academy Interest • Any student interested in attending a military academy • Contact Mrs. Morgan in the counseling office

  10. NATIONAL INFORMATION LITERACY AWARENESS MONTH, 2009 • A Presidential proclamation declares October 2009 as National Information Literacy Awareness Month
