  2. Singapore-listed China Merchants Holdings (Pacific) Limited (CMHP) is a leading toll road company focused on investing in and managing toll roads in the PRC.

  3. Headquartered in Singapore, CMHP is a member of the China Merchants Group and is its largest company in Southeast Asia.

  4. The Company is one of the leading toll road operators in China and is the single largest toll road company listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited.

  5. Currently, the Company invests in and operates four toll roads totalling 412 kilometres. They are located in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Guizhou province and Zhejiang province in the PRC. 

  6. These roads form the main component of the national and provincial road networks. Besides the core business in toll road operations, CMHP is also involved in property development in New Zealand.

  7. Currently, China Merchants Huajian Highway Investment Co., Ltd (“Huajian”) is the holding company with an equity stake of 82.5% of the issued shares in the capital of the Company. 

  8. Huajian, a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Merchants Group Limited, is one of the largest enterprises in China engaging in toll road investment and management. 

  9. Huajian manages a portfolio comprising investment in 76 toll roads, bridges and tunnels with an aggregate length of approximately 6,000 km in over 18 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities.

  10. The issued and paid up share capital of the Company comprises 718 million ordinary shares and 136 million redeemable convertible preference shares.
