  2. Agenda: Core 9 • Go over graph and data sheet • Finish documentary • ACE group evidence analysis • Practice interview with a partner • Introduction to Shakespeare

  3. Goals • You will be able to analyze and determine the credibility and types of evidence presented in a documentary. • You will be able to read graphs and charts successfully. • You will be able to practice interviewing skills.

  4. Hoop Dreams • Pay attention to the claims in this documentary • What is the author’s purpose? • What evidence is presented? • Is it compelling evidence? Why or why not?

  5. Interview Practice • With a partner, practice what you are going to say for your interview • Go over rubric together • Make a list of what you need to do to prepare for your interview on Thursday.

  6. ACE: Group evidence analysis • Step 1: Find your group and gather materials (markers, ACE sheet, evidence worksheet) • Step 2: Answer question on ACE sheet using ACE method. • Step 3: Letter yourselves A-E • Step 4: Rotate and teach.
