Welcome to Third Grade! Ms. Robbs Room 103
My name is Ms. Darice Robbs I’ve taught 3rd grade for 4 years Originally from Topeka, KS My favorite colors are brown and turquoise Oldest of 5 children I love to sing I’m in school too!!! Who Am I?
Our Daily Schedule • 7:45 Pick-up class from the gym • 7:55-8:20 Morning Meeting/ Character Education • 8:20-9:25 Storytown (Reading) • 9:25-10:25 Writing/Grammar • 10:25-10:35 Bathroom/Snack • 10:35-11:45 Special Class (Gym-A/Tech-B/Spanish-C/Music-D) • 11:45-12:15 Recess/D.E.A.R. Time • 12:15-12:50 Lunch • 12:55-1:55 Math • 1:55-2:50 Science/Social Studies • 2:50-3:15 Achievement Academy • 3:15-3:30 Homework/Clean-up/Curbside • 3:30-3:45 Dismissal
Pencils • Each week we will have 2 pencil sharpeners-only for mornings! • I will possibly have 1 pencil sharpener at my desk • You may also sharpen during indoor recess • When the class sharpener breaks, I will allow hand sharpeners • Please return broken pencils to the sharpen me cup at the end of the day • If we have a pencil problem, I will charge $.10 for extra pencils!!
Bathroom • We have 2 bathroom breaks a day • Morning-class • Afternoon-buddies • Only those with a note from the doctor will be allowed extra bathroom breaks.
