  3. HERE ARE SOME GUIDELINES THAT YOU & YOUR REALTOR CAN FOLLOW TO ASSURE A SMOOTH “SELLING”! Let’s go over each one…

  4. COMMUNICATION • Have open communication between everyone • Calls from either side (you or your Realtor) should be returned within 24 hours • Be realistic – Allow for time for everyone, Realtors included, to enjoy holidays with family & friends Just a quick note… we’d like to show the house tomorrow at 3pm is that ok? Phone Call

  5. MESSAGE Tuesday 4:20pm Mom – The Realtor called. Call him back. 324-5789 Bobby • Make sure your family knows to take accurate messages from your Realtor • Make sure you leave messages for your Realtor instead of thinking “I’ll call back” • Get the MESSAGE out there to the potential buyers that your home is on the market! Call Mrs. Smith 444-5678 Monday 02/07/12 3:50PM

  6. Professionalism • Guarantees a certain level of attitude throughout the entire business relationship • Guarantees a professional job will be done; all the “T’s” crossed & “I’s” dotted properly

  7. RELIABILITY • Keep appointments • Don’t cancel last minute • Understand there are “emergencies” that may come up for all involved • Answer and return your Realtor’s calls, e-mails, or text messages • Expect the same reliability from you Realtor

  8. Accessibility OPEN • Have your home available at all times • Allow as many Open Houses as your Realtor needs to get the buyers inside and looking • Be open about hours that your home can be viewed when you’re not there • Keep your home in “viewable” condition at all times (Your Realtor can help you know what to hide away or clean out to always have a house that shows at its best)

  9. INNOVATION • Interesting & Different ideas for high-lighting your home on the market • Realtor Only Showing/Cocktail Party • Billboards & Signs • Have your Realtor be inventive with new ideas & ways to call attention to your home (within reason & affordability) Are You Missing Out on Your Dream Home? 

  10. $ VALUE $ $ $ $ • Price Your Home Right • Is it a “Buyer’s Market”? • Is it a “Seller’s Market”? • What have houses in the area recently gone for? • Your Realtor will know the answers to price your home so it sells $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $

  11. THE KEY TO IT ALL…PERSONAL INTEREST • Somebody has to be interested in it to want it • That’s where the Realtor comes in… they find the person or family that’s interested • Give us a call… we can put all of this into action & sell your home for you – the right way – the professional way
