  2. Breathing through the straws • Before breathing through the large straw, I felt fine and relaxed. • After breathing through the straw, it felt strange because I am used to breathing through both passage ways. • Breathing through the small straw is when I felt like I was being invaded. • Running around, then putting the straw in my mouth, I lasted 15 seconds • I do believe there is a difference between the city and the country because in the city there is a lot more pollution in the city then there is in the country. In the country there is more plants and trees which give off oxygen which helps us have cleaner breathe.

  3. How do people cope with Asthma? • People with asthma have a lot of stuff to look over. The biggest thing that people with asthma need is an inhaler. An in hailer is a medicine that is a medicine in the oxygen that clears the passage ways. Doctors do not prefer liquid medicines. They may irritate your passage ways. Staying fit. Running, jogging, excerising will all put a great effect on asthma • http://www.medicinenet.com/asthma/article.htm • http://medicalcenter.osu.edu/patientcare/healthcare_services/allergy_asthma/about_asthma/Pages/index.aspx

  5. Air Quality? • The air quality of 1 hour average ozone concentration (PPB) 12zModel run is good. - Green http://airnow.gov/

  6. Asthma now and 20 years ago • It is unbelievable how many people have asthma compared to now. Asthma has at least raised 60%. The generations before us didn’t have asthma because there was a lot of pollution. Now these days more inventions are being completed and more fossil Fuels are being burned which effects the air ways to be filled and clogged with the pollution. The correlation between asthma and air quality is huge. The air quality is the grass and trees and grass and when spring time hits pollen and the grass start to thicken and take up to much space in your nose and through

  7. Asthma now and 20 years ago This is a picture of a graph that is increasing over the years 2001-2004 of diagnosing with asthma. It at least raid 25% just over these years

  8. Jerome Bettis • Jerome Bettiswas diagnosed with asthma at the age of 15. Jerome was no as “The Bus” who played running back for the Pittsburg Steelers. Everyday The Bus would take his daily meds and then before every game he would take a nebulizer treatment so he would have enough oxygen. While Jerome was playing he was always in touch with his doctors and always had one on the field with him. Jerome actually had an asthma attack on the field and almost died. In 1997 he was playing a night game in Jacksonville,FL when it was so humid it caused an asthma attack.

  9. Jerome Bettis(Continued) • Jerome says that people with asthma need to get active and become flexible and work around asthma!  • http://www.webmd.com/asthma/features/football-hero-tackles-asthma
