  2. Summary of the Book The Murder of Bindy Mackenzie is about a girl named Bindy who is very smart. She is now a year 11 or a Junior. Since she’s a year 11 she has to take a class called F.A.D. (Friendship and Development). Every one in her class she knows and they don’t like her , except for her teacher Try and the new kid Figgeman Blonde. Later in the book is all about how she won her friends back (F.A.D. members). Then later in the book Bindy gets sick and her friends think that she’s getting poisoned. To make sure Bindy’s o.k., she goes goes to the doctor and they find arsenic in her blood. The only question is, who poisoned Bindy?

  3. School years • You start in reception (kindergarten) when you’re around five in Primary School (Elementary School). Then you finish Primary School in year 6 or 7. Your around 11 or 12 years old at the time. Then High School starts when you’re a year 7 or 8 and finishes when you’re a year 12. Then after High School you go to university (college).

  4. School times Times for when school starts and finishes varies but it’s usually these times. • For Primary School it starts around 8:45 a.m. and finishes around 3:00 to 3:15 p.m. • For High School you start at the same time as Primary Schools but end school around 3:20 to 3:3o p.m.

  5. School Uniforms • A school uniform consists of a blazer, school tie, and dress pants or skirts. • Most schools have them. • They are mainly grey and blue but some times the girls’ skirts are plaid.

  6. School Terms • The first term is Jan. 27 to early April 1. The break is April 2 to April 11. • The second term is April 12 to June 25. The break is 26 to July 11. • The third term is July 12 to Sept. 17. The break is Sept. 18 to Oct. 3. • The fourth term is Oct. 4 to Dec. 10. Then after the fourth term it’s Summer Break.
