  2. Australian public school system • An Australian public school system starts using Google’s Gmail rather than Microsoft products. • New South Wales and TAFE (Technical and Further Education) are part of the school system. • Plans to have 1.3 million users by the end of 2008

  3. Google versus Microsoft Products • Google over a three year period costs about $9.1 million • Microsoft valued at $33 million over a three year period • Microsoft’s contract was renegotiated and reduced to one year http://www.tutor2u.net/blog/images/uploads/google-microsoft_1.jpg

  4. Email Storage Capacity • Google’s Gmail stores up to 6GB per mailbox • The other only stored up to 35MB

  5. Lawsuit • Google gets sued • Alleged of copying the gMove tool and producing their own free solution • Google now has about 50 million subscribers costing the other about $950 million

  6. My Opinion! If I had to choose one of these products I would choose Google due to the fact that Microsoft is expensive. I have Microsoft products and I really like them, but if I can get the same thing for a lot less then I will.
