  3. Three Times God asked Joshua to be strong and courageous. “And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses has laid his hands on him. So the people of Israel obeyed him and did as the Lord had commanded Moses”Deuteronomy 34:9

  11. Being brave brings courage Courage has a cause • Courage is called upon when the fight is worth it. • Courage is needed to uphold the righteous purposes of God. Courage is gained • Courage grows as we learn from these accounts who God is: that God is good, righteous, faithful and merciful.

  12. Being brave brings courage Courage is infectious • Build up our faith in God to believe the impossible. • Bring God’s people together for a purpose. Courage is a choice • There is a choice between: succumb to fear and intimidation or to take heart and continue with his commission.

  13. A call to courage, it is a called to be a leader. A leader is someone that doesn’t waste his life, but fulfil the calling upon him.
