  2. New York City is one of the costliest cities in the world. There is no doubt about that. But if you have parked your car at Long term Parking Newark Airportand are about to board a flight to New York, then you need to start planning about how to enjoy the city at the lowest cost. 1.The first thing I would recommend is to walk. It costs nothing, it is healthy, and is by far the best way to appreciate and to get to know a city. Consult a map of things to do or places to visit which are close together in a cluster, take public transport to get there, and then spend the rest of the day walking around those spots. 2.The Museum of Modern Art is free for entry on Fridays, between 4 pm and 8 pm. 3.The Frick Collection is an amazing repository of art pieces, which has free entry on the first Friday of every month. 4.There is a free tour by foot of the area around Grand Central Terminal, which has a guide to help you. 5.Central Park is another place you can enjoy for free, as also the Conservatory Gardens inside it.
