1. 3 Reasons that Justify the Popularity of the Mobile App Development Today, almost every little service is available in the form of mobile applications. From operating the bank account to shopping online, ordering food or connecting with people from all around the globe, mobile apps have made life easier. In the beginning, however, there were no apps; there were features installed on the phones. The Simon model launched by IBM in 1994 was the first phone that came loaded with “features” such as calendar, calculator, notepad, mail, address book and even a sketch pad. This revolutionary step inspired others like Nokia to jump on the mobile bandwagon. What we had was similar features with a better interface. The handsets 3210 and 3310 came with that legendary snake game which was developed using JavaScript!

2. Blackberry took things a step further in 2002 with the introduction of the Blackberry 5810 that came with a “qwerty” keyboard, had arcade games, to-do lists, calendars and ringtone editors. It was in 2007 when Steve Jobs decided to change the world of mobile phones completely with the first iPhone. It was loaded with a plethora of features like maps, weather updates, photos in addition to calendars and customizable ringtones. iPhone 3G then arrived with a bang and mobile internet became a sensation. In July 2008, the Apple AppStore went live with 500 apps and within the next few days, there were about 10 million apps downloaded. Though Google already had individual markets for the Android users like Android Market, Google Music and Google Books, all these separate stores were integrated into one big application, the Google Play Store, to have a better appeal in the mass market. Over the years, with AppStore and Google Play Store, millions of people around the world download the hundreds of new apps that enter the market every day. This proves that mobile application has already reached its pinnacle of popularity. It is hard to imagine a life that doesn't include mobiles or mobile applications. For a better comprehension, a few reasons for its increasing fame and demand has been summarized as below. Mobile applications have a wider reach Everybody uses a mobile. These numbers highlight the extreme reach of mobiles. A mobile application featuring the attributes of your business or product is more likely to get noticed than on a desktop version. Mobile applications eliminate the physcial presence between the brands ad the customers completely. Most mobile app development services providers use interactive designs to engage the customers and keep them interested. No matter where the customer is on the globe, they will be in constant touch with your brand, thus not allowing it to pass into oblivion. It can be pointed out that the opportunities with a mobile app are infinite. All you need is a stellar mobile app development platform and a brilliant idea to spark an everlasting connection with your customers.
